When Ballarat teenager Fiona Elsey lost her cancer fight in 1991 she
couldn’t have imagined how her courage and inspiration would motivate
her community to support the cancer research work of oncologist and
clinician hematologist, Professor George Kannourakis, fulfilling her
dream to build a cancer research facility in her hometown, Ballarat.
Fiona's dream is today very much a reality, through the Centre's operations and the passion and dedication of our supporters.
We are excited to launch a new donation program "Fiona's Dream" in honour of Fiona and her quest to unlock the riddles of cancer.
It's as simple as purchasing a flower or a bunch of flowers through the form below for someone you know that has been touched by cancer.
Each flower is
$5, so for
$25 you can by a bunch of
5 flowers and so on.
Once we hit
5000 flowers, not only would you have helped raise
$25,000 for the Centre, but you as a donor will be part of something very exciting!
Help us reach our target of 5000 flowers by:
-
Purchasing your own flower or bunch of flowers
-
Passing the message on via Facebook, Twitter and email to your friends and family
And watch something beautiful unfold!
